We believe you should be able to trust what you put on your skin, which means knowing how it was made and what is in it. Here is exactly how we work.
We start with a researched lead herb
Every formula begins with one plant that has real science behind it, not folklore. We read the research first, then build the recipe around what the herb can actually do.
We slow-infuse the botanicals
Dried herbs are steeped in organic carrier oils over time, gently and without harsh heat, so the fat-soluble plant compounds move into the oil intact. Patience is the whole point.
We blend in small batches by hand
The infused oils are combined with beeswax and complementary botanicals in small batches, poured, and labeled by hand here in Kansas City. Nothing is mass-produced.
We tell you the honest version
We share what the research supports and where it stops. You will never see a miracle claim from us, because that is not what the plants, or the studies, actually say.
What goes in (and what doesn't)
Our salves are built on a short list of ingredients we can stand behind: organic carrier oils, beeswax, and slow-infused botanicals chosen for a researched reason. We don't add fillers, synthetic fragrance, or dyes to our salves.
Every product lists its full ingredients on the label. If you ever have a question about what's in a specific item, just ask — we're happy to tell you.
Where our ingredients come from
We choose organic botanicals and carrier oils wherever we can, and we favor suppliers who can tell us where a plant was grown and how it was processed. We'd rather use fewer, better ingredients than a long list we can't vouch for.

Safety, the honest way
- For external use. Our salves, serums, and sprays are topical products made to be used on the skin.
- Patch-test first. If your skin is sensitive or reactive, dab a small amount on your inner arm and wait a day before wider use.
- Pregnancy & nursing. Please check with your healthcare provider before using herbal products, including our teas, if you are pregnant or nursing.
- Not medical advice. Our products and content are for general wellness and education. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. If you have a medical concern, talk to your doctor.
- Store cool. Keep salves out of direct heat so the oils and beeswax stay stable.
